So let’s say you are late for work (like, really late) and even if you have a valid excuse, it’s happened so many times your boss is starting to give up on you.  Are you people out there?  I know you are, and this one’s for you!  Well, (if I may) let me suggest a new angle – have you ever considered changing your ‘excuse book’ (kinda like a play book for athletes).  Instead of  making an effort trying to get places on time (cause it ain’t working) spend time coming up with funny excuses.  I predict that if you are late for the 100th time, but have a joke ready about why, you will actually get a free pass, and your boss (who hates you) might just keep you around cause you’re funny (but don’t quote me on that).  If the CRAZY Jeff Lewis (who I LOVE) can endure his interns excuse for being late – anything is possible (see below).
